LockBox Storage is proud to sponsor Callum De Klerk. Callum has been chosen to represent North Canterbury in soccer and has recently competed in the South Island U12 tournament in Blenheim. North Canterbury won their two pool games with Callum scoring in both games against Eastern Southland and Otago. Well done Callum!

While the winter sports codes have had their final presentations, our support for local junior netball continues. We are committed to 2018 already. Sitting on a mantel piece is the new trophy presented to Fernside FF1 for becoming the winners of the LockBox Storage Trophy for the Most Goals scored by a Future Ferns netball team for 2017.

The North Canterbury Netball Centre held its annual Jelly Bean Tournament yesterday in lovely sunny conditions. Teams from Rolleston through to Kaikoura enjoyed a fun-filled, relaxed day enjoying the chance to add some fun and colour to their usual playing uniforms. The Minions, Hawaiians, Emoji’s and Bumble Bees were the favourites.

We have had a great season so far this year. It’s been a busy one with our season kicking off at the end of April. We hosted our annual Rainbow Games in June and in July our U17 team attended Nationals in Auckland. We have our annual Jellybean tournament coming up on Sunday 13th August with over 60 teams entered. We will also be hosting the Netball Mainland U15 Zone championship final on Sunday 20th August. Our Friday netball finishes up this week with a fun mini tournament.
Final Dates: Premier 1 final is 17th August, Yr 5 & 6 finals are the 19th August and the Yr 7 & 8 and Grade finals will be Saturday 2nd September.
We look forward to the start of our social Twilight Competition in October.

Rest assured that throughout last weeks’ significant rainfall,your treasured positions remained safe & sound. The drainage channels between the blocks are working well and at no time has there been any cause for concern with regard to flooding. We hope that none of our clients experienced any flooding or damage to personal property. The next few days will bring more rain so wrap up warm and stay dry.
